Monday May 23 - And while we're waiting...

Sorry about the delay in getting the first round of pictures up.  Bruce was whining about the coffee break already.  He wanted to make sure the Cherry Crunch Coffee Cake was going to be ready for 10.  :)

Some random pics and then what's *really* going on right now on board - galley, bridges and some outside.

The Diva docked at the Williams Island Marina.  Technically, she's called My Diva but since she really isn't mine, I'm calling her the Diva.

The neighbors at the marina.

More neighbors

The Diva from the port side (gotta speak the lingo)

Soooo not the Diva.  I paced this Lazzara off and it was 36 Jen paces - approximately 100 feet.  This is an across-the-street neighbor.

Various views from across the street - trying out my panoramic feature on my phone camera - pretty cool.

The Galley (port side) Almost all clean and relined with shelf paper (can't you tell?)  I stood on the back bench to take this picture.  (See the picture below)

The Galley Dining (starboard) (shot from the sink perspective in the picture above)

The Bridge (the galley is to my back, picture shot from the starboard side)

The Bridge (shot from the port side).  Ladder leads to the fly bridge and upper deck (pictures below)

The Bridge (shot from the bowsprit.  Yes, s-p-r-i-t.  The place from where the anchor is dropped.)  I'm pulling a reverse Titanic move here, perched precariously over the concrete dock.

The Fly Deck, former home of the hot tub.  GONE!  Jenn Aire elctric grill to the left.

Purdy new radar!

Fly Deck

Jenn Aire - works ~slick!~

Fly Deck and Fly Bridge from the aft (back)  The opening to the right of the captain's chair is the portal that brings you down to the bridge and main level on a very steep ladder.

At the far aft, the fan tail cockpit.  I'm looking from the fly deck over the salon.

This handy bit of wiring was removed from service.  It is a 220 volt power strip (European plug) which had been hardwired in using speaker wire.  The previous commander of this vessel probably originally installed the silly thing with a drink in one hand while standing in the hot tub.
